How to Avoid Acne Scars

Some people are more prone to acne than others, therefore they may be more likely to have acne scars. But, there are ways to avoid having scars from acne. People with darker skin tones are at a greater risk of developing dark spots from acne.

Instructions

1. First, if you have a breakout, do NOT squeeze the pimple. Squeezing increase inflammation that maybe increase the chance of scarring. If you have a large cystic pimple, you should visit your dermatologist. There are treatments such as cortisone injection or ointments that can help.

2. Try to avoid a breakout. If you know what causes it whether it is a type of soap, stress, or anything avoid it totally.

3. If you do have scars from acne, try using topical wrinkle fillers that contain hyluronic acid, such as Lancome. These pull water to the surface of the skin. Makeup primers will also help fill in the areas.

4. Use creams that help build collagen. You need something that can boost skin rejuvenation.

5. If your skin is pitted, you may opt for laser treatment. These beams fade red marks and boost collagen. This is the most costly option.
